Awards of the 33rd Ambient and Dom Plus Fair 2024

At the 33rd Ambient and Dom Plus Fair 2024, which annually attracts a multitude of design and construction enthusiasts, prestigious awards were presented for outstanding products and solutions. The awards, recognized for their bold creativity, superior craftsmanship, and functional aesthetics, were given to the best innovations as decided by expert juries.

This year’s TOP IDEA 2024 awards were presented to four equal winners. Additionally, a special award from the Designers’ Association was conferred.

Among the awardees, Gašper Martinc stood out by receiving the TOP IDEA 2024 award for his unique dining table made from Kerrock in the new colour N 546. The jury, consisting of Janez Mesarič, Kaja Strle, and Dejan Kos, emphasized during the award ceremony: “The dining table combines the leading material Kerrock with an innovative metal support cross, creating a well-thought-out product for industrial production.”

The project is the result of a collaboration between the Higher Vocational School in Ljubljana – ŠC Ljubljana School under the mentorship of Ernest Nograšek, the company Kolpa d.o.o., and the company Voga d.o.o.

The Ambient and Dom Plus Fair 2024 has once again demonstrated that Slovenian designers and companies push the boundaries of creativity and innovation, setting high standards in the field of design and architecture.
